Join us for a pop up shop collaboration between Grey Goods Studio and Smart & Becker Creative on Saturday, Feb 4th!
Brooke Heuts is behind Grey Goods Studio, and her work is inspired by the power and beauty of the first mark on an unmarked surface -- preserving this ‘mark-making’ is a key part of her process. She hand screen-prints, dyes, paints, and use collages to create textiles and fill spaces with pattern, texture, and creativity. She'll have hand-dyed textiles and goods for the home.
Smart & Becker is driven by Ryan-Ashley Anderson's creative pursuits, including a jewelry collection, DIY workshops and instruction, and various artist collaborations. The core ethos for her jewelry collection is to create beautiful, wearable, functional, long-lasting accessories that are made with sustainability in mind. Currently, most of her work incorporates off-loom hand-stitched beadwork, mixed media textiles, and minimalist geometric shapes and patterns.
This collaboration brings together like design minds, soft, yet electric color palettes, and beautiful goods that offer both timeless beauty and sensible functionality.
